BlackBerry is offering up to $550 if you trade-in your iPhone for a BlackBerry Passport
BlackBerry has struggled as of late, but it’s trying hard to lure users over to its latest hardware. The company today announced that it’s offering a ‘trade-up’ program that could save iPhone owners up to $550 on a purchase of a Blackberry Passport.
The payment is split up into a $150 as a Visa Prepaid card for every device, plus up to $400 dollars depending on the model and condition of the phone. Blackberry is accepting every iPhone model since the 4s, but that model will only net you $90 in addition to the $150 card.
The trade-up program starts on December 1 and lasts until February 13 of next year, and is only available in North America.You can get the estimated trade-in value of your iPhone on Blackberry’s dedicated page.
Additionally, Blackberry is also offering a limited time $100 discount on the Passport and $275 off of the Z30 on its online store for the holidays.

BlackBerry Classic pre-order started price at $449, Ship on December 17
BlackBerry has started pre-order for BlackBerry Classic, its company’s latest high ended smartphone with a physical QWERTY keyboard. BlackBerry Classic has a 3.5-inch touch screen display. It is the largest display ever on a QWERTY BlackBerry smartphone. Its run BlackBerry OS 10.3.1. It has HSPA+/ LTE connectivity support a nano SIM card.
This will require you to purchase it unlocked, however - there's no contract-signing with a carrier involved. Also, because it's made for GSM carriers, it won't work on Verizon, Sprint, or US Cellular.
The BlackBerry Classic is now available for pre-order from the official BlackBerry Shop in the U.S. for US$ 449, in UK for 349 GBP and in France and Germany for 429 Euros. It is expected to ship mid-December 2014.
